For part 2 of our luau series, let’s stay on the west side of the island and explore Paradise Cove.
West side of Oahu
Every day, year-round
Immerse yourself in an authentic island luau experience. Start your evening with a lei and Mai Tai greeting, complete with live Hawaiian music serenading you as you enter the private grounds of Paradise Cove. Participate in the pre-luau activities and crafts located on the water’s edge. Activity and event highlights include canoe rides, traditional lei making, Oo ihe (spear throwing), the Shower of Flowers and the Hukilau on the Beach. Then make your way to the expansive buffet or, if you go with the Deluxe package, enjoy table service. Once you’ve settled in, your hosts for the evening will treat you to a spectacular Polynesian dance show, during which you will have the opportunity to learn the hula.
Salad bar, macaroni salad, pasta salad, poi, lomi-lomi salmon, fried chicken, island fish with macadamia nut creme sauce, kalua pig, steamed white rice, fresh pineapple chunks, haupia, banana coconut cake, taro rolls and butter
